About this plant
The Dracaena, also known as dragon plant, is a robust houseplant that can absolutely take a beating.
"There are many Dracaena species and most are found in Africa, South Asia and Central America. The botanical name Dracaena is derived from the Greek 'drakaina', which means female dragon. This temperamental lady owes this name to the bright red resin, or dragon's blood, which some species produce. It might imply that she is difficult to tame, but nothing could be further from the truth. The Dracaena is content with a light place, regular water (but not too much; she does not like wet roots) and and then mist a bit with, for example, a plant sprayer."
Our care tips
